Planning your proposal can be stressful foray human! With all the work and planning you put into this moment why not plan to capture it with proposal photography? It is such a large moment in your relationship and we often take months to plan the event and select the right jewelry. I was so thrilled when Matt reach out to as if I would capture his proposal while we were in Mexico attending another wedding. We took our time and convinced Elisa that it would be fun to get some couples pictures as they had been together for a few years and didn’t have any good images from past trip and adventures. She was easily swayed into joining for a quick session on the beach. It took some time for Matt to shake the nerves but once the sun was setting he dropped down to one knee and asked her to be his wife!
Should I hire a photographer for my proposal?
YES! Hiring a professional photographer for your wedding is a no-brainer, but hiring one for your proposal might seem like more of a “maybe.” Should you keep the moment between you and your partner (so it’s, you know, as intimate as possible) or capture it to share with the world? I love pretending to be a bystander for proposals. Ultimately I do believe it is so important to be captured but the level of evolvement can vary to make the moment more intimate.
